My paintings are abstractions of reality, whether it is a portrait or a seascape. I work in acrylic and mixed media using predominantly palette knife.

Having lived in Suffolk with the huge skies and beautiful sunrises , I moved to the south Cornish coast with the clear light and ever changing seascapes.

These landscapes have been a principle theme in my development as an artist. I try to express these changing elements through my art and find ways of incorporating bold colours in the abstraction of the landscapes and seas.
